The Whole Body store, the personal care arm of Whole Foods, invited select bloggers to their media preview party last Friday. Whole Body has a hair salon and dry nail spa in store as well as a wide array of beauty products. True to form, Whole Body shares the same caliber of environmentally safe and humane standards for their selection of products as the Whole Foods stores do for their groceries and produce. They encourage vendors to use natural and plant based ingredients with gentle preservatives. There is absolutely no animal testing done on the selection of personal care products. Read more about Whole Body on their website.
Starting February 7-9th, facial care is 25% off
From February 12-16th, make up is 30% off
To kick off the preview to their sale, Whole Body treated us bloggers to a catered event by the Kitchen at Whole Foods, using all ingredients found in the grocery store. And free wine!
Aromatic soaps on display
Body scrubs and champagne
We got our nails manicured at the salon using brands like Zoya and Mineral Fusion which have mild chemicals and long lasting colors.
Whole Body carries a large selection of Weleda brand skin food. Weleda uses sustainable ingredients from fair trade partners to cultivate natural beauty.
Desiree was on hand to style everyone's hair at the hair salon. We had a good chat about food while she worked and I have now befriended yet another foodie!
I took this photo from my friend, Olivia, who has a much more in depth and comprehensive break down of the event. I'm glad she caught a photo of me getting primped because all you ever see on this blog is food stuffs. Check out her blog here.
Whole Body also gave us a ton of product samples to try. Most of which I will be using on my Asia trip. I can't wait to share on Facebook or Instagram my experiences with the products.
Check out the Whole Body salon and store in Campbell, especially during their sale starting on February 7!
