Taco Night

As our relationship has grown, we've developed a "relationship personality" and our personality is that we like to eat and throw random themed dinners. Our random taco night idea coincided with IC's moving out get-together so we brought taco supplies over to her place.

Here I am, cooking up the ground beef with onions and taco seasoning, which you can find at Safeway or any grocery store. The pan wasn't big enough so I had to make 3 batches.

The beef at its early stage.

Chopped tomatoes and cilantro that Phil prepared earlier at home and prepackaged guacamole on the right. Sour cream in the bottom right edge of the picture. Shredded lettuce and cheese shown at the top.

3 batches of taco meat with 2 different hot sauces. Someone also brought some roast duck, pictured in the back. Not pictured: Filipino sponge cake and cheese dessert. Overall, it ended up being a 3 culture food night with Mexican, Chinese, and Filipino dishes.

Phil manned the tortilla station most of the night for those who wanted soft shell tacos, which were clearly the preferred choice over...

the hard shell tacos.

Cap the night with some New Belgium Fat Tire and we're all set. (Pay attention to the beer, it will surely resurface again. *wink wink*)
